Frequently Asked Questions 🙂
Q: What is REAL Make up Artistry?
A: We are a hair and make up artistry team based in the Philippines that specializes on weddings, debuts and special events, although we occasionally also have editorial and corporate assignments as well.
Q: What style are you known for?
A: We believe that every woman has her own beauty to enhance and show and we strive to make this unique beauty come out through the art of hairstyling and make up. Our team is known for very soft and feminine bridal make up artistry with loose / natural updos for hairstyling. We also love doing the sultry eye make up for our brides 🙂
Q: What brands do you use?
A: We believe in investing in the best brands because our brides’ faces are worth the investment. Our favourites are Bobbi Brown, MAC, Clinique, Estee Lauder, NARS, Chanel, Shu Uemura, Make Up For Ever, Kryolan, Laura Mercier, Cargo HD Cosmetics, and Kiehl’s.
Q: How much is our initial investment with your team?
A: Our starting rate is Php 9500 with our junior make up artists and Php 12000 for our senior make up artists for weddings 🙂 Our rate differs with the service you’d like to have on your big day, shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: How do we book you?
A: To book with us is an initial investment of just Php 5000, which is deductible to the total package that you would like 🙂 After which, we then send you a contract to seal the deal 🙂
Q: Can we pencil book your team?
A: Since we continuously receive inquiries and bookings, we prioritize our brides who have decided on the investment of working with our team. So we do not accept pencil bookings to avoid confusion 🙂
Q: Is airbrush better than traditional?
A: Every bride is different, a bride may look great in airbrush make up, while another bride may shine in traditional make up. The answer is that it depends on what suits your skin type. There is no “one size fits all” make up for all brides, but there is one that suits you. This is why we do a preliminary testing / trial on your skin before applying the full make up 🙂
